Michael D. Surgen, CEO, has been in the financial industry since
1978 and has been the President and CEO of two banks. Mike played
a major role in the evolution of a small antiquated savings and
loan in Baltimore with $8 million in assets to a highly profitable
multi-subsidiary savings bank with $465 million in assets. He
also was responsible for the turn around of a troubled de novo
bank in Florida. He has been involved in a myriad of real estate
transactions nationwide and has the ability to break down any
deal to its basic components and provide the structure necessary
to obtain the most optimal financing.
Robert Van Horn, President, has a career spanning twenty-five
years as Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer with several Collier
County financial institutions, (First Florida Bank, Pelican National
Bank and BancFlorida, now Wachovia Bank). Responsibilities included
management of a loan portfolio in excess of One Hundred Million-Dollars
consisting of terms loans, commercial mortgages and all types
of financing for established clients in Naples, Collier, Lee and
Charlotte Counties.
